WHEELHOUSE OF EVENTS

Having been raised in a wildly creative home and working amongst many talented artists over the years, my aesthetics have been heavily influenced by the unusual. I find myself entranced by the unique, inspired by the juxtaposition of dissimilar elements, colors, and textures that Mother Nature has created.

As a California grown florist, I have found a passion for the more intimate, romantic wedding … weddings that use our rugged coastlines, majestic mountains and magical deserts as their backdrop.

For the last 10 years, I’ve been lucky enough to call the Joshua Tree desert home, creating and working throughout the high desert and allowing a little of its magic, wildness and unusual beauty to find its way into my work.

Now, I find myself back on the coast and closer to my roots, calling Laguna Beach home and surrounded once again by family, friends and a creative community I love — with the desert never too far away.

As a nature lover and big fan of Mother Earth, my goal is to tread lightly and in doing so I’ve become fond of working with locally grown flowers purchased directly from the growers whenever possible.
